Welcome to the  Web of Hope’s Best In Class resource,  which demonstrates that a better world is here, and it’s here now.

Talk to us
We want this to be a living, growing resource, so if you are involved in a project, new technology  or other transformational initiative – or would like to tell us about one that excites and inspires you – do contact us with details of your project.

We are also interested in your thoughts about the Resource and this site. If you have any suggestions (not rude ones) about how we can improve, contact us.

If you would like to volunteer with us or with any of the projects listed in the resource (not all projects accept volunteers, but we will ask them on your behalf anyway), contact us about volunteering.

And if you like what we are doingconsider supporting us with a donation (please!) and by emailing all your friends, and your friends on Facebook, twitter, and all those other social networks out there. We use something called the wibiya toolbar, located at the bottom of every page. It makes it easy to connect to all your favourite social networking sites.

How to find your way around the resource
If you’ve come here you want to see what is Best In Class, initiatives that show us the way to achieve sustainable lifestyles. So how do you find them?

  • The resource is divided into four sections: Ideas, Organisation, People and Technology; and two super-categories: Man and Nature. You can see these on the lower menu bar. The super-categories each contain Topics which you can see as drop-down menus.
  • Every article is referenced by both section and category.
  • There is another menu item for Challenges. These are the ecological challenges we all face and which the Best In Class articles disarm.
  • You can also use the search bar at the top right-hand corner of the page. You can search by anything you like.
  • Each article displays a list of Related Items that appear in a menu box on the right of the page.
  • The five newest articles are shown on the Resource Home page in a menu box on the right of the page.
